Cake Craft is a Do-It-Yourself cake decorating experience where you craft your own cake masterpiece & get to take home the delicious creation too!

It is a sweet time and memorable experience that will ignite your passion for cake decorating.

All the necessary tools, materials, and ingredients are provided for each participate during the event. Need only to bring your enthusiasm to have fun!

Cake Craft Includes

The cake craft activity is in a relaxed setting and allows attendees to get acquainted with basic decorating skills, including using decorating bags, frosting cake, and adding decorations to cake.

Cake Craft includes:

A prebaked cake per participant (Size & flavor varies depending on the type of cake craft event)
Frosting (Varies on the cake craft event)
All tools and materials for cake craft activity

Only finished cake product is taken home.

All the necessary tools, materials, and ingredients provided to use during the cake craft event are the property of Hula Cakes.
Only the finished cake product is to be taken home at the conclusion of the event.

Terms & Conditions

Each paid spot is for 1 person to decorate 1 cake.
Sharing is not allowed unless specified.
It is encouraged to arrive early to avoid delaying event start time and distractions to others.
No late arrivals- Event will begin promptly at their start time. Please plan on showing up 15 minutes early to ensure you receive the full benefit of the pre-event activities.
Age of participants attending event will vary based on the type of cake craft event being offered.
Due to the nature of this event, Hula Cakes may not be able to accommodate those with food allergies.
All participants/attendees will be asked to sign the following prior to attending event.

Cancellation Policy

No-shows or unused tickets will not be transferred to another event date or refunded without proper advance notice.
Registration deposit may be transferred to a later date with a 21-day advance notice.
While we do our best to accommodate a date change, there is no guarantee of date availability since events book up very quickly.
Any person or event cancelling less than 3 weeks prior, (21 days)
- The 50% registration deposit will be retained by Hula Cakes and used as credit towards another cake craft workshop within 3 months (90 days) of the cancelled event date
- Rescheduling date will be based on whether or not cake craft events are available during that timeframe.
- Registration deposit will be forfeited if not able to be used within 3 months (90 days) of the original cancelled date.
Notify us of the cancellation. A written notice must be submitted to Hula Cake – hulacakeshawaii@gmail.com within the specified timeframe to receive credit/refund.
For cancellations or rescheduling prior to 21 days of the event, the refund will be issued as credit.
Hula Cakes has the right to cancel or reschedule events if minimum attendees’ size is not met. If Hula Cakes must cancel the event, we will do our best to reschedule it as soon as possible.

Cake Craft Registration

Is advanced online registration required to attend a cake craft event. Yes. We will not take walk-ins. Advance registration is required. Registration is on a first-come first-served basis.
How do I register and pay for a Cake Craft event? Please click on the registration links on our website for the Cake Craft Event you want to sign up for. Payment is processed through link via square.
Registration is not complete until ticket is paid in advance. Confirmation & ticket reserving seat will be sent via email once payment is received. Ticket will be required to enter cake craft event.

What is Cake Craft?

It is a sweet way of exploring your creative side with the art of decorating cakes in a casual & fun environment.

Do I need to provide my own supplies?

No. All supplies are included, so just bring yourself and get ready to decorate! You will get to take home your cake creation to display and devour afterwards!

Is "Cake Craft "a workshop or class?

No. The cake craft is part instructional but mostly a DIY cake decorating experience.

If you are looking to improve your cake decorating techniques, the cake craft event/activity may not be for you. Attendees will get acquainted with basic decorating skills including using decorating bags, frosting cake, and adding decorations to cake.

Do we get to keep any of the supplies used during the event?

No. All the necessary tools, materials, and ingredients provided to use during the cake craft event is the property of Hula Cakes. Only the finished cake product is to be taken home at the conclusion of the workshop.

Can two people share the cake craft activity?

No. Each paid spot is for 1 person to decorate 1 cake unless specified otherwise. Sharing is not allowed

What do I wear to the Cake Craft event?

We kindly request you wear black pants, shirts or black skirt to the event. Any light- colored tank top or shirt is fine.

What time should I arrive for the cake craft event?

We would appreciate being on time and arriving early. Most of our cake craft events are packed with activity and we like to begin and end on time. Please plan on showing up 15 minutes early to insure you receive the full benefit of the event. Arriving late causes distraction to others. Arriving late or No-show will not be issued a refund.

Do you accommodate allergies or specific dietary restrictions?

We cannot offer allergy friendly options as all of our items are mase in a facility that may come in contact with milk, nuts eggs and/or flour. For gluten-free products, please inquire and we will see if we can accommodate your request

Is the Cake Craft only for those with experience or professional cake decorators/bakers?

No. Our cake craft events/activities are geared towards the average person and prior decorating experience is not required. There’s no need to know how to bake or have any experience in the kitchen. We offer cake craft events & activities for those who are just starting out.

Why is there a "No Refund" policy within 21 days of the event date should I decide not to attend cake craft event?

Since we limit the number of attendees that can attend an event and reserved an exclusive spot just for you, we most likely will not be able to fill your cancelled reservation intime for the event. The process of preparing for your cake craft experience involve coordinating details, ordering supplies and preparing ingredients. Supplies & ingredients for each event are set aside per participant therefore we would take a loss when they cancel a reservation within 21 days of the event date.

Is there an age limit to attend a Cake Craft event or DIY cake craft activity?

Hula Cakes provides cake craft events, and DIY cake craft activities for all ages. Please inquire for more details.

Some events/activities may require the attendee to be 21 and older.
Some cake craft events request attendees to be at least 13 years old. while other event may be ideal for 16 & older
We also offer cake craft events & DIY activities designed just for Ages 6-12 & “Toddler Time” cake craft - designated for toddlers 5 years of age and younger.
